Carrots Are Funny.

Take the three carrots above. True story- horses love carrots. The end. Anyway, seriously- they do. So just about every day I give carrots to my horse Buddy-boy. Here’s the recipe- cut them up and put in a bowl and add an apple (also cut up) or two. Well, that means we go through a lot of carrots and I see a lot of carrots in their natural form (before they get to your salad or slaw or become those weird mini-carrots that look like small vibrators).

Recently though I have seen some carrots with charming personalities- such as the ones above.

It goes like this (if you have seen this already on Facebook, please feel free to move ahead to the next section of the email), the first photo is of “Mr. Carrot No Pants.” He thinks he is all that, strutting around with no pants like he is the “cock of the walk.” Then just when all of the other carrots are saying “yeah baby, you are looking fine with your no pants all big and stuff” along comes “Mr. Carrot No Pants And My Dangle Is Bigger Than Yours” (photo #2)and bam! Photo #3 happens and you just walk around looking like you gotta pee.

Moral of the story? There is no moral, jeez- they are just carrots that I chopped up and fed to my horse!

Moving on-

Our first bingo night back on Wednesday night was really fun. Great crowd and great charities. Our guest for the first show was Terre Jole, star of Lifetime’s “Little Women: LA.” She was lovely as usual (glowing from her pregnancy) and actually held her own up on stage with Willam who was in rare form.

I love when people bring their kids to our bingo and then the kid wins. I don’t know why it is way cooler to see a kid excited about winning than an adult. Part of me has a fantasy that years later the kid is going to tell someone “I was having a difficult childhood and then I won at drag queen bingo and it changed my life!” Am I crazy? We’ll just see.

This is Henry (in the middle) and he won the grand prize which was a $100.00 American Express gift card! Henry is 10 years old and when I asked how he was going to spend it, he said ‘I don’t know, please just get away from me.” See how confident he became simply by winning at drag queen bingo? I believe my point is made.

For the 2nd show we had a “bachelor party” which in the gay world is like a bachelorette party but with a guy who is marrying another guy. I think. Or maybe not. But this guy was getting married on Saturday and brought his friends to play bingo.

One of his friends being “Mr. Pink Plastic Blow Up Penis Face”…
I believe someone told me that “Mr. Pink” was also the flower girl in the wedding which seems like a good job for him since he has arms.
