Here’s the deal.

By now you know that we have added a Thursday night show to our already action-packed lineup. You probably also already know that the first week (this Thursday night March 2nd) we are doing a big promotion for the upcoming FX show by Ryan Murphy called “Feud: Bette and Joan.” FX has bought out the house for two shows so that bingo will be free for all who attend.

What you may not know is that both shows sold out the first day that reservations were available (through an external ticket site). I know. Pretty fast but people do like their free bingo- and their Ryan Murphy shows that have Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon starring in them (and Catherine Zeta Jones for gosh sakes!).

Well, I anticipated this happening and went in right off, reserving ten tickets under my name for each show (7 and 9 pm).

I think you know where this is going. If there are those of you who really wanted to come and did not get tickets in time, I may be able to help. I will give two tix (seats) to the first 5 people (per show) who email back to me from this email. Specify 7 or 9 pm and also give your name. To make it easier for me (please) know this- if I do not get back to you by Monday night, that means the seats were already taken. But give it a try. I would love to have you there for this amazing time.

Prize packages are amazing (won’t tease you with the details) and the guests are also quite fun. And bingo is free! We will be selling extra packages at the door with the money going, at FX’s bequest, to Gay and Lesbian Elder Housing. Very nice of them.

Speaking of sold out houses, this last Wednesday was another one. Both shows!

For the first show, we had a great special guest ballcaller in Mr. Fred Willard!

What a great guy, and so funny. He kept talking about how upset he was with all of the bad language and behavior, just like one of his film and tv characters. You know there is one degree of Fred Willard at Legendary Bingo. Both Brad Garrett and Monica Rosenthal of “Everybody Loves Raymond” have called our balls and Fred played Monica’s father (Brad’s father-in-law) on the show. Both Jane Lynch and Jennifer Coolidge have called and Fred was in at least two films with them.

And then we surprised Fred by bringing out his new “daughter-in law.”

That’s right! Fred plays Phil Dunphy’s father on “Modern Family” and Julie Bowen plays his daughter-in-law!

Julie was attending a party in the back room for the first show (the party came out for the second show) and I brought her up to the stage. So much fun. I am sure that everyone got great shots of the whole thing. Everyone except me. I don’t know why but above is the best pic I got. As I posted on Facebook it looks like Fred is being held hostage, Julie is barking the ransom demand and Roxy is a little kid saying “look at me! Look at me!”

Julie’s gang, a bunch of moms from a charter School came out, and they all seemed to be having a great time.

They brought boas for all to wear because, you know, drag queens always wear boas. Not so much.

Also on Wednesday night, one of the waiters at Hamburger Mary’s brought his friends to celebrate his birthday.

Nice looking group, huh? The birthday boy is Mo and he is in the top row with the hat on. Roxy paddled Mo’s bare ass and I did get a nice video of it (he is a dancer so the rear part was, well…dancer-like) but Mo won’t let me post it on Facebook because his mother is on there too. Damn parents- stay off of your kids’ Facebook!

Anyway, that is all for now. I should have great pics of the FX night for next week so stay tuned!
