Yeehaw!

First of all- that’s my horse Buddy-boy in the photo above. I asked him to memorize what we say at the beginning of every game and he did his best. And then he kept on going by reciting the first four chapters of “Charlotte’s Web.” Don’t ask me why.

This last week we traveled far and wide. We went to the Wild West and then to the Far East and then back to Hamburger Mary’s!

On Thursday night we moseyed out to Irvine California to the Strawberry Farms Ranch for the 2nd annual “Wild West Bingo Night” for a corporate client. I brought along my cowgirl Deven Green and we had a swell time.
Deven dressed as….well, I am not quite sure as who-

It just came to me. She’s “Jessie” the cowgirl from “Toy Story”! Am I right Deven? But I don’t think Jessie would be flipping off the camera with both hands you dirty girl.

There were many fun things to do at the event including being arrested and being taken to jail. So of course at one point they arrested me. And for what?

Because my mother won a game of bingo- that’s why! They said it was fixed!

And I am not saying it wasn’t… but jail was no fun. Very quickly I became the property of a guy named “The Rimmer” but at least he protected me and gave me Reeses Pieces.

That’s my mother with the unfortunate facial hair and my niece Tiffani looking all sassy. Fun event.

On Saturday night Roxy and I went to the Far East- well, east Pasadena- for a wedding rehearsal dinner for a gorgeous Asian couple. The event was held in a Thai restaurant and a few of the tradition dishes were….well, one had a face.

Yes I know and I apologize to all of our vegetarian fans, those who love pigs and I guess everyone. Personally I stuck to the fried rice and pad thai.
Now I hate to belabor this but the pig reminds me of someone….

Right? That’s my friend Lin Shaye in “Something About Mary”! She also has a horse and we ride together sometimes. And I keep telling her “wear some sunscreen!” but does she listen?

The gorgeous couple, Dustin and Lina were all decked out as was Roxy-

On Sunday night we were back at Mary’s and had a wonderful celebrity ballcalling guest. Actress Michelle Hurd is known for “Law & Order: SVU” and “The Glades” and “90210” and…she’s married to (in my opinion) one of the most amazing and versatile actors around….

Do you recognize Garret Dillahunt? “Justified”? “Raising Hope”? Maybe “Damages,” “Deadwood,” “The 4400”? He is scary and funny all at once. What a great couple and a couple of really nice people. And Porsha Hayy is nice too. She limited her f-bombs to about 97- in each show.

NO BINGO THIS SUNDAY!
We gave up trying to fight The Super Bowl so we are taking the night off. So enjoy your sporting event and hopefully we will see you this Wednesday for more fun, f-bombs and drunk debutantes.
