Seriously!

Seriously. This week I feel like the Bingo Email is so serious! We did our yearly Planned Parenthood LA “Bingo For Choice” and I realized how important it is that we are aware and support the agencies that are currently in peril of being defunded or closed down. This was our 14th year doing this event and trust me, it was a blast, but I was also struck by how amazing all of the people were who were there supporting and volunteering.

Anyway, lots of fun and an important cause.

The event was held at Angel City Brewery in DTLA and guess what? It was not our only event in a brewery last week! Last Sunday Ingenue and I visited the Iron Fist Brewery (also in DTLA) for an event benefiting AIDS Lifecycle (another important cause- gee- aren’t they all important these days?)

These people were down below us in what was considered to be the “cheap seats.” They were not happy about that so they won most of the games. This was a daytime event and at about 4:30 pm it started pouring! So cool to be in a warehouse in the rain in downtown LA!

And of course no event would be complete without someone covering their face with dauber juice…

Well, thanks for letting me be a bit serious this week. We also saved animals ( a few times), fought Leukemia and Lymphoma and helped a charter school so I’d say it was a pretty good week.

Hope you will join us this week for more important causes! And of course paddling, faces full of dauber juice and a lot of wadded up paper being thrown.
