And now the holidays begin

So deal with it. You can see in the photo above that we ate so much I actually turned in to a cob of corn. A delicious cob of corn but still. My niece is a turkey head and my mother was “mashed potato head” but she thought she looked lumpy and made us crop her out. (Ha!)

Did anyone venture out on Black Friday?

Yeah. That’s what it looked like and so I stayed home. Amazon on Black Friday is just safer and more humane.

On the night before Thanksgiving we held our annual “Night Before Thanksgiving” show and as usual had a wonderfully diverse crowd.

This group is what we called “The Big Boys Table.” They were all over six feet tall and very manly. As I was leaving one of them stopped me and shook my hand.

Big Guy- Hey, you were really great!

Me- Thank you!

Big Guy- You know, you’re shorter than normal people but you seem so much bigger on stage.

Me- Um…thank you?

It wasn’t until I got to my car that I thought of my comeback which should have been “you’re just taller than most normal people so…..” and that was about it. Not really a zinger but what can you expect from an abnormally short guy like me.

This was the “Sassy Ladies Table” and they were a lot of fun, especially the grey haired lady who called me over to her table just to tell me that she had a bottle of wine that was autographed by Marilyn Monroe. She wondered if it was worth a lot of money. I told her that she should sell the damn thing and move to Europe where they are a lot nicer to old people. She just stared blankly at me.

These folks were the “Culturally Diverse Table” with a guy from Ireland, a guy from the UK, a guy from Australia and a guy named “Philip-ay” who was from Woodland Hills. Go figure. They won a lot and everyone hated them.

At one point in the evening, Roxy did a commercial for good dental hygiene…

If you think the toothbrush is big, you should have seen the floss!

Anyway, during the holiday I ventured out and bought a new car. You know it is very important for Bingo Boy to have a nice ride since we do private parties for so many really, really rich people. I mean, how would it look to pull up to a multimillion dollar estate in an old Tercel? Nothing against Tercels but still.

I brought the car over and introduced it to my “other” ride.

Look Buddy-boy is giving my car a Rim Job! Good boy!

This week we are back in full swing with PASADENA BINGO on Tuesday night! This is our last bingo in Pasadena in 2016 and we hope you come out and support Canine Angels! You can pet one of these amazing service dogs or even pet me or Roxy if you so desire. Rezzie link is below.

On Wednesday night for the 9 pm show we have a special guest from “Glee”!

This is Alex Newell who played “Unique” on “Glee” and he is also one of the stars of “A Cinderella Christmas” which is playing December 8th through January 8th at The Pasadena Playhouse! The musical also stars the amazing Morgan Fairchild!

All who attend the 9 pm show on Wednesday night will receive a raffle ticket and the chance to win two tix to the show!

Calpernia and I are hitting the road on Thursday for beautiful Monterey Bay to put on a big bingo show for the students at Cal State University Monterey Bay! I love road trips, especially in a brand new car! Calpernia is a fun traveling companion except that she makes me stop at every roadside stand so that she can eat things like beef jerky and giant pretzels. Not in my new car ma’am! Not in my new car!

And finally, a heavenly shout out to Miss Florence Henderson who passed on Thanksgiving Day. You were everyone’s mom and we all will miss you as we would a dear family member. Fly with the angels!
