Hopefully you are reading this on the eve of Christmas Eve and are getting things together for your own holiday celebration. As for us, we are working tonight and then have the rest of the week off for our own celebrations with family and friends.
And then on Sunday, it’s…..
No, not question mark. Exclamation point! Yes free bingo!
On Sunday night, December 28th we will offer up a special “thank you Bingo Freaks” bingo night at 6 pm at Hamburger Mary’s. Roxy and Bingo Boy will be serving up FREE BALLS 4 Y’ALLS! Come on by and enjoy the show and win one of the amazing prize packages that Bingo Boy is putting together for the occasion!
Speaking of celebrating, we have been to quite a few celebrations in the last week or so. Here are some mementos or “photographs” as many call them…
On Friday, Roxy, Deven Green and myself did a huge corporate party at beautiful Hillcrest Country Club in Century City. Here we are before the show desperately trying to look like we are members who are rich, spoiled and laughing at all of the commoners outside of the gates.
We then took it outside so that the “outdoorsy types” could also see us and at the same time look up Roxy’s santa skirt from below. It worked.
On Sunday night at Mary’s we had a visit from a bunch of beautiful women in ugly holiday sweaters. They said they were being ironic but other guests in their “beautiful holiday sweaters” (is there such a thing?) just thought they had good taste.
I love this woman who made herself a “pelting cocktail.” She told me the only way to order it was “dry.”
Porsha Hayy said she was dressed for “Kwanzaa” but honestly she looked more like a native of Boca Raton who was trolling for young men on a cruise ship on the way to the Bahamas. And the O-69 ball is just good marketing folks- just good marketing.
I received an email from “Cause For Celebration,” one of our recent charities and, in the holiday spirit, want to share it with you. Here goes…
As the year comes to a close, I wanted to send you a personal note of thanks. Cause for Celebration has finished out 2014 having provided birthday parties for more homeless and foster youth than ever before! This has largely been possible with the help of Legendary Bingo. Our success with your event allowed us to cover the expenses for SEVEN birthday parties for the past two months. That’s seven children’s lives we’ve been able to brighten thanks to your event!
Rather than just say thank you, I wanted to show you the real impact your event has allowed us to make. Attached please find some pictures of the seven kids whose birthdays Legendary Bingo helped us brighten. Thank you again for your generosity and for being an advocate for philanthropy in our community.
Warm wishes,
Laura
Well, finally something put me in the holiday spirit and I thank “Cause For Celebration” for doing that. I hope that you all never forget that these ridiculous, fun, crazy, loud bingo parties that we do actually do make a difference in the community and the world. And we thank you for that!
Happy Holidays from Bingo Boy and The Legendary Bingo Hostesses- Willam, Roxy, Calpernia and Porsha!
