We Launched!
Like a freakin’ rocket!
The “Drag Queen Bingo: The Home Game” Launch Party last Thursday night at Hustler on Sunset was a big success and (I hope) fun for all who attended. If you were there, thank you for coming and if you were not, where the hell were you?
Here are a few moments from the evening.
When I arrived I was stoked to see that we a part of Hustler’s “We Heart Orlando” table. Last week I donated a case of games to the hospital in Orlando where many of the shooting victims are recovering and I hope it brings them some joy.
There was also a bigger display of the games and of course, I was thrilled to see them out and about.
We even had our own “step and repeat” backdrop and red carpet- just like a fancy Hollywood premiere!
That’s Joel “69” with Porsha Hayy, me and the fabulous supermodel Deven Green!
I hired a few drag queens to portray the characters from the game and they really did their job. If you notice, they are holding up the game card with their character on it. The two on the left are not drag queens- they are burlesque dancers (I used to produce burlesque shows- did you know?) and they are fabulous all the same.
I also invited a few celeb friends…
Here we have Erin Murphy who was “Tabitha” on “Bewitched” along with Jennifer Elise Cox who was “Jan Brady” in the Brady Bunch movies and Alison Arngrim who was “Mean Nellie Oleson” on “Little House on the Prairie”! Bewitched-Brady-Bingo-Bitch! Ha!
I set up tables in the party for guests to play the game and this turned out to be one of the most popular things to do! People love to play this game!
Joel, Deven, Jennifer Cox and her husband Lee had a fierce competition going!
We also played “real bingo” with Roxy and Porsha hosting-
The prizes were big giant sex toys so of course everyone wanted to win. Notice that backdrop? Hustler made it for the party and it was magnificent! Here is a better shot of it.
They were very nice and gave it to me. It is now hanging over my bed. Sometimes I wake up scared….
This is great shot of all of my “girls.” Deven Green, Calpernia Addams, Roxy Wood and Porsha Hayy are all amazing bingo hostesses and I am lucky to have them.

Next to me is Hunter King (The Young & The Restless) and then Moosie Drier (anyone old enough to remember him from “Laugh in”?), Erin, Jennifer, Roxy, Porsha, Deven, Calpernia, Joel and finally our great friend and actress/radio host Lisa Ann Walter.
The event blew up Twitter and Facebook and I am sure there are a million more photos but that is enough for now. I will post an album on the dragqueenbingo.com web page once I collect.
A great night and much appreciation to all who attended and helped make it a success. I am grateful for all of you!
One more thing-
On Sunday night we had a visit from one of our favorites! Mindy Sterling from Austin Powers films and “Desperate Housewives” came by to help out a dog rescue and she was funny and amazing-
And yes, I was still wearing the shirt from the party but I did wash it first. Then I sweated right through it because it was 100% humidity on Sunday night. In California!
