It was a tough week

And of course I have had to think very hard on how to address it in the “Bingo Boy” way. In all of the years of producing Legendary Bingo (and co-hosting although rarely does anyone ask me to be in a photo since I seem to be the ‘Desi Arnaz’ of the act) this is one of the toughest moments with which we are tasked with soldiering on and continuing our work even though to many, things seem very bleak.

So here we are and this is real. So I asked myself “what should I do this week to address our current mood but also keep it uplifting and hopeful?”

And I think I came up with a doozy!

This week I am going to feature PEOPLE WHO CAN MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER!

I have recruited several alumni Celebrity Bingo Ballcallers who are known for their sage words of advice when the chips are down and it seems like the whole world is against you.

So sit back and have some hot cocoa- or a big glass of vodka and let them do their job. They really only care about you…

Mrs. Brady! Now you know she would just sit you down and tell you “Marcia…” (even if your name is not Marcia) “Marcia, sometimes things don’t turn out exactly as we planned them but we just have to get up and make a new plan. A that new plan should not be like the old plan because then it is not a new plan. Do you understand? Would you like some pot roast and a glass of milk?”

And then she might say-

Um…too late.

Next up is our gal, international superstar Sia.

I think Sia might just quote from her hit song “The Greatest;”

God love you Sia and your simple but true message.

Okay old timers. Remember “Nanny & The Professor”?

Juliet Mills played Nanny and she always made us feel better with her magical charms and sage advice. Here we will simply quote from the theme song of the show;

I don’t know about you, but it still works for me.

Speaking of magic…

On the right- Erin Murphy played Tabitha on “Bewitched” and I think what she would do to make us feel better is twitch her nose and turn (insert name here) in to a contestant on “Celebrity Apprentice” who did a perfect job but still gets fired. For no reason at all. What?

It’s June Lockhart! Lassie’s mom!

Timmy- Mom! Lassie’s gone! I looked everywhere and she’s gone forever!

Timmy’s Mom- Oh, Timmy. Lassie is not gone. She’s just resting up somewhere and she’ll be back very soon with an entirely new agenda and new ideas maybe even some new pantsuits! I mean, would you like some pot roast and a glass of milk?

I always feel better when I see this next person on the television-

Demi Lovato came to bingo last week and got on stage to call a few numbers with Roxy Wood and our newest hostess, Ingenue.

Her appearance at Legendary Bingo was noted by the legendary UK rag “The Mirror” with this-

She means Roxy! How cool is that? Roxy’s boobs are famous in a place where people speak with British accents!
