What Did You Do For Halloween?
Well, we hung out with a bunch of roller derby chicks! It’s true. On Saturday night Roxy and I went out to The San Fernando Brewing Company (which was a pretty cool place) and did a show to benefit the San Fernando Valley Roller Derby Team. You probably don’t remember or even know this but we do a Halloween show every year for them. And it is always in some strange place but always fun.
As you may know, I hate dressing up for Halloween so the fact that I did was HUGE (for me). Not that I was really creative (at all).
Yeah, I know. Big deal. I went as a cowboy. But Roxy and I are doing another gig this week with a western theme so it made sense to double up. The moustache was ridiculous and stayed on about five minutes.
Roxy is dressed as a “racially inappropriate Indian” but no one cared. She is Roxy Wood after all.
There were a few stand out costumes at the party and I will now share.
Can you guess who this is?
If you guessed Ken Bone you were right!
In case you don’t know who Ken Bone is…
Here is the real Ken Bone making his big impression at debate #2. And now he’s……forgotten! Who?
How about this one?
This was a tough one for me since I don’t watch tv. Oh, come on- I watch tv all the time! Just not….
“Bob’s Burgers.” I guess it is an animated show on…some channel.
One more and this one I recognized.
Do you need a hint?
It’s poor “Barb” from “Stranger Things”! Personally I did not feel sorry for her when I watched the show. If only she had been a slut like her friend she would have probably lived! Right?
Roxy and Joel worked on Sunday night and here’s what they came as-
The devil and Donald Trump! A perfect pairing! The only problem was that Roxy told me “The Donald” was trying to grab her
all night. I am sure Donald would have been very surprised had he made contact!
One more photo and this is one of the best “Cher” costumes I have ever seen.
Seriously, right? Okay, it really is Cher! She made an appearance at Hamburger Mary’s in Long Beach last week stumping for Hillary Clinton. I hear that she looked great and that she was very nice.
Cher herself was not happy with her performance and later tweeted-
I’d like to see the closet where all of Cher’s cuss words are being stored. Would be a fun day trip, yes?
Well, we hope you had a great Halloween and please bring us candy (not really- we have enough). And now you can start Christmas Shopping! For “Drag Queen Bingo: The Home Game” I hope…
