We are fancy.

I know I have told you this before but it bears repeating. We are fancy. We do fancy events at fancy locations for fancy people. Now, if you think I am just spewing #alternativefacts, well…..you are sort of correct. Is there such a thing as #somewhatalternativefacts?

 Hamburger Mary’s is definitely not a fancy place although sometimes fancy people attend the events (mostly ours). And I, for one do not really ever dress fancy unless we are doing an event at a fancy place. Like Brentwood Country Club.

 Which leads me to our wonderful event on Sunday night at fancy Brentwood Country Club!

 While Deven and Roxy were holding down the fort at Hamburger Mary’s (here is a hidden cam photo of them at bingo- don’t ask where the camera is because I cannot tell you)-

I am told that it was packed and everyone had a (less than fancy) good time. Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEVEN GREEN!

Anyway, while they were playing with my balls at Mary’s, Ingenue and I were at Brentwood Country Club with another set of my balls.

I took some photos so that you can see how fancy people really live.

We will start with the men’s bathroom-

In fancy bathrooms, you have both liquid soap and hand lotion. All in one convenient fake marble container. Also fancy bathrooms have combs in the glass liquid thingy like at the barbershop. Did you know that Barbicide (the liquid in the glass thingy) is available on Amazon and has its own Wiki page? Who knew!

Desserts are served and presented a little differently at fancy places.

Churros are not served like this-

They are served like this-

– in a silver chafing dish with dipping sauces and berries.

 Jello is not served like this-

It is served like this-

-with fancy spoons and layers and it is called “Gelatin.”

And bread pudding doesn’t look like this-

-it looks like this…

Almost made me want to eat some. But I did not.

 Anyway, it is fun to do events in fancy places.

 But just remember, fancy people are just like you and me.

They like to have fun and do good things for charity and enjoy a good evening of Drag Queen Bingo- even if the tablecloths are white linen instead of plastic and the wine glasses are actually glass and not plastic.

Beginning February 9th, we will do our (right now) once a month gig in DTLA on Tuesday nights due to our upcoming NEW THURSDAY NIGHT LEGENDARY BINGO AT HAMBURGER MARY’S!

That begins in March so don’t get too excited- yet. Like these ladies-
